Yoho House is a luxurious and secluded farm house surrounded by spring fed creeks at Delamere; an hour and half from Adelaide along the Fleurieu Peninsula.
We love our holidays at Yoho House; we have picnics under the old Elm tree, meander through the pine forest, read on the couch, swim at Second Valley Beach and the kids play in the creeks. The cooler months are spent collecting mushrooms, racing leaf boats and by the fire reading and drinking wine.

Inside Yoho House we have created the perfect space to feel inspired, relaxed and for you to reconnect with yourself, your loved ones and nature.
The master bedroom offers a queen size bed with sumptuously soft linen, blankets and gorgeous views of the creeks and trees. The bathroom has a large shower along with a deep bath where you can soak the hours away while listening to the babbling creek and birds outside. Yoho House has a fully equipped kitchen so if you don’t feel like leaving (and you probably won’t), feel free to whip up a master piece to share with your loved ones. There are books to read, games to play and cozy nooks to just sit and ponder.
Outside, there’s a small deck to sit, have a cuppa and watch the native birds dance by. Or if the weather is warm sit on the grass, or on the outdoor setting and watch the sun filter through the elm leaves. Star gazing is a must on a clear night so get your wishes ready for the shooting stars. Take a walk along the creek and meditate by one of the many mini waterfalls, or walk up the path to our historic 1800’s cottage and say hello to our ‘Teddy Bears’; our Belted Galloway cows and their matriarch, our friendly cow Betsy the Fresian.
We’ve thought of everything so you can just take a deep breathe, relax, re-charge and make many memories.
Yoho House is an ideal getaway for two, however it can accommodate up to six people at an additional cost (with three separate bedrooms with queen size beds).
Other things to note:
There is no TV at Yoho House. Feel free to gaze at the windows, wander outside or read a book on the couch. If you would like to watch a movie or a show, or need some quiet time for your kids please pack your own iPad or laptop.
We have no mains water at Yoho House and rely solely on filtered rain water so please take care and use responsibly.
Please note there are two creeks that surround Yoho House and some sections can be deep and the rocks slippery so please be careful, especially with little ones.
Children are welcome at Yoho House and upon request we can provide a travel cot (please bring your own linen for the cot) and high chair. The house is not baby proofed but we trust parents judgment in regard to this.
Yoho House is situated on a working farm with livestock so please don’t approach or try to feed the livestock and always close any gates you open.

We stock a basic pantry, which includes; instant coffee, ground coffee, Nespresso coffee pods, black and herbal teas, salt, pepper, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, biscuits, sugar, granola and milk. Please pop into a shop for your extra supplies. Guests find it hard to leave once they arrive, so we recommend you stop for supplies in Yankalilla or Normanville. There’s also a small general store at Delamere.
We have an enhanced cleaning routine and we’re taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations. We also have a Covid-19 Safety Plan and our guest and team safety is our top priority.
The house and gardens are all yours to explore so we welcome you to wander around, pick some lavender or herbs for dinner and water the plants if they need some love.
