We had booked the hotel last minute and he was so accommodating from the very beginning!! His kindness will never be forgotten. The rooms were beautiful and clean and so spacious! "Stayed 1 night at Sombea on the way to Switzerland and thought it was excellent. The restaurant and bar on property was great for dinner, drinks, and breakfast the following morning. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel itself was in great condition. The only knock was that the air conditioning system was not working and although it wasn't hot, it was a bit muggy because of the rain we had that night. Still slept soundly but we could have been a bit more comfortable. By the time we discovered that it wasn't working, it was too late at night and there was no one to fix it. One excellent feature of the hotel was the on-property cigar lounge, although during our 1-night stay it was full of cigarette smokers. I would still highly recommend this hotel as a stopover on the way to somewhere else."

"Very comfortable, very clean and modern rooms. Yet there are heirlooms all over the buildings that you will never see anywhere else. The hotel is quiet and comforting. The restaurant had a great breakfast and dinner options were extensive. All the food was very well prepared. Drink options are exceptional and there is an extensive wine list. All that aside, the staff makes this place. Super nice people, very knowledgeable, and very helpful."

"Wir waren mit 20 Personen in der Unterkunft um unser Sommerfest zu feiern. Die Lage ist super, 5min mit dem Auto vom Südufer des Kirnbergsees entfernt. Supermärkte waren mit dem Auto auch schnell zu erreichen. Für 20 Personen war ausreichend Platz, sowohl an dem großen Esstisch, als auch im Wohnbereich und draußen auf der Terrasse. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder kommen"
