"Listing says it’s walkable, but it’s probably a good 20 minute walk and it’s not ideal with kids because of traffic once you get into Acadia. It is a short drive to Jordan pond house though. Our mattress was from 2007 and we did not sleep good at all because of it. Not enough seats for 4 to relax in living room after a long day of hiking either. Very responsive host so that was a positive."

"This was the perfect place to stay for our groups MDI marathon weekend. We were super close to the finish line in Southwest Harbor, which is more peaceful than Bar Harbor. Both BH and SWH have plenty of great restaurants and Bar Harbor is only a 15 minute beautiful drive. "

The property is the perfect stay for anyone visiting the town or going to visit Acadia National Park! "The property was located in a peaceful wooded area on the quiet side of Acadia. It was not far to the major attractions in Acadia and Bar Harbor. Comfortable, clean space. There really isn’t a kitchen - no stove or sink, but there is a microwave, coffee pot and you can wash dishes in bathroom sink. There is a fridge. It had everything we needed since we were not cooking - just reheating. Lots of information sent ahead by the owners. We really enjoyed our stay. "

"Our stay was great! The property is located in a great place for the views. The only negative thing you can say is that if you are only coming to Maine for the biggest attractions, then you have a 15-20 minutes of additional driving. Not a big deal cause the views are great on the drive as well."

"The stay was unfortunately related to a family medical emergency but the unit provided just what we needed. The main floor is tight but the loft bedroom is very spacious. The view is wonderful, though it is close to Route 1 so a little noisy with road noise while sitting on back deck"

"This new apartment was the perfect size for the two of us. It was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything you’d need. We had a great view looking out the kitchen window and enjoyed watching the deer in the morning and evening in the back yard. We also liked having outdoor access to the basement for our bikes.
