Great little cottage

Clean, convenient located, quiet and cozy cabin
We truly enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. It was so conveniently located, clean and quiet. We were so glad to have our 30 lb. Golden doodle with us. A family of Canada geese (Mom, Dad and 3 goslings) also swam by to visit.

Had a very nice stay. The location is quiet and peaceful. Easy to the highway and exactly as advertised. Stayed here for the week for work and will absolutely be back again. 5 stars! WiFi worked perfect for work!

Lakeside Paradise!
Such a lovely, charming, quiet little cabin on the lake!!! Perfect place for a little getaway. The entire stay was wonderful and Jackie was a most excellent host and very accommodating of last minute stay extensions! Hope to stay again soon!

A Private Oasis Close to Everything
This cozy cottage is located on a private lane that feels as though you are entering another world surrounded by nature yet close to everything. Proximity to shops, restaurants, and beaches is great. The fantastic Ivoryton Playhouse is close by. The cottage is snug and warm with a great kitchen and comfy beds. It was the perfect spot for 2 friends to relax and catch-up.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The property overlooks a small lake and has a great window to view the lake and provides lots of sunlight making it very bright and warm. The cottage has all your basic needs for cooking if you want. The appliances are all great and in mint condition. The cottage has 2 bedrooms. The smaller bedroom would fit 2 children comfortably and 1 adult as the bed is a very small double.

Very cute and simple two bedroom cottage. The property was very quiet and had a nice view of a little pond - complete with geese and baby bunnies to watch. it was fine for 2 people but you could hear everything through the walls so really no privacy/space for more than that. Some extra towels and sheets would have been nice - we were missing a top sheet on one bed. Overall a nice relaxing stay in a clean, quiet little cottage.

The coffee pot pictured online was not correct as it’s a Keurig with no coffee supplies. The sheets did not smell fresh and there is no washer/dryer. Other than that it was very cute and quiet with a view of the lake.

Cozy waterside stay
We had the opportunity to stay here on the return trip from a two week NE roadtrip. The accommodations are as pictured in the listing. It is a cozy space with two bedrooms, larger size kitchen space and comfy sofa in that area to watch a large screen TV. The second bedroom and bathroom are a bit tight in space with specifically the stall shower being pretty narrow. There is ample closet space in both bedrooms to store luggage, and the beds themselves were comfortable. The kitchen area was very nice and you could easily prepare a meal, but the one caution is that there is not much in terms of cookware (ie; we could only locate one smaller size pan) so although we had intentions to make breakfast for the days we were there, we had to opt to eat out instead. So just be mindful to either pack what you need if that is your plan to cook. We took advantage of the proximity to the local town of Chester which has a very cute Main Street of stores and restaurants. We also visited Essex to check out the Steam Train, and downtown there with the historic Griswald Inn and other cute shops etc. There is a lot to do in the area with the Gillette castle nearby as well so this is really a perfect little spot if you are planning a weekend getaway centrally located to these other sites to see.
