"Armand (owner) was very helpful, even though I was only there for a very short time. He allowed me a flexible check in and was very friendly. He brought breakfast to my room in the morning. I didn't really explore the area but I know Lyon fairly well. It was a 20 minute walk to Part-Dieu Station but of course you could get a direct bus or tram easily. A taxi cost me £13 from Part Dieu to the property. It is exactly as described."

The hosts were just delightful and we loved listening a reading the picture book to how this family owned home was renovated to the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and filled with local made goods. "This place is very basic but cheap but is close to Lyon Airport, a petrol station is about 1km away. But the room, shower, toilet and bed linen was spotlessly clean. I had the choice of 5 beds in my room and the one I used was comfortable. My room had a TV with some premium channels, a microwave, fridge and air conditioning that worked. I could keep the window/door closed and it was a pleasant temperature. There was plenty of hot water and the shower was good. The Wifi didn't reach here but was...
