"This place is located in a nice quiet neighborhood with wildlife. We saw fox and deer on the property. This place has everything you need to have an enjoyable stay. The property was just as advertised, especially the bedrooms were very nice for the 6 of us and the kitchen area was well stocked for cooking at home. Thank you for letting us stay at your place. I highly recommend this place if looking for a San Juan Island retreat."

"I had to send a reminder email to get the ID verification process started. It wasn't too hard, but it is another layer on top of the Vrbo interface. The main room has a big window facing the water. The porch also has that ununobstructed view. I really liked that. I have a few suggestions for improvement, but overall, this was a great place to stay. The kitchen could be stocked better with measuring cups, rolling pin, etc. The chairs look nice but are not the most comfortable after awhile....

The House of the Ocean Sun absolutely exceeds the amazing pictures and write-up in every way. Views are epic. The property is immaculately maintained and the kitchen is fully equipped—it even has an espresso machine that converted us away from pods. "The house is tucked away in the woods in a quiet remote area. Perfect place for the 2 of us to stay. Very clean and great communication from VRBO. My only critiques would be the sheets are not soft and cozy and the heat takes a long time to heat an area. We had a great time soending our anniversary on the island. We would stay again."
