Great place!
Paul’s place had everything you’d ever need. The space was clean and cozy. It was in a great location, close to attractions yet far away from any noise. We will definitely be coming back!

The property owner was very friendly and helpful. The property is amazing and is close to Deadwood and Spearfish if you’re planning on visiting. Book one more night than you want too and really enjoy everything about the property.

Mountain Getaway
Beautiful area perfectly situated in the mountains, but minutes away from restaurants and hiking trails. I brought my dog and we enjoyed waking up and hiking to the peak of several hills in the area to watch the sunrise, then jumping on the Mickelson or Homestake trails in the afternoons. Property owners are very kind and accomodating, apartment is cozy, clean, and has everything you need for a 1-night or 1-month stay.

This place was really cozy and accommodating. Super close to Deadwood. It added so much to the Deadwood experience. Wildlife right when we walked out side in the mornings. Hosts were so friendly! Would stay here again.

Relax in so many ways
Paul’s property is a great way to get away and relax. Relax in the hot tub, relax in the sauna, relax by the fire pit or relax with a book looking at the beautiful Black Hills. We enjoyed the animals and hobby farm activities, too!!

Great Deadwood Stay
It was a great experience. I would definitely stay here again. Nice and comfy and the property managers are very kind and friendly. I’d say the only thing is make sure to call before hand if you don’t get check in directions to give a heads up of your expected arrival.

Fabulous Location
This was such a wonderful place to stay. The scenery was magnificent. The wildlife was random, and the hosts were spectacular. Very clean, and we loved the private access, and the location was very close to town, which made it a wonderful place to stay. And a Big Horn Sheep walking up behind us like we didn’t even exist made my heart jump. Just a great weekend overall.

Amazing property, wonderful host!
A gem! So close to town and all the activities yet up on a hill, secluded and peaceful. The unit was perfect for 2 but could fit 5 for bedding, fully equipped and very comfortable. The property is so special, you won’t want to leave! And Paul is the perfect host, allows all the privacy you want but so warm and welcoming.

Great cabin wonderful hosts!
We'd return in a heartbeat! Studio room was perfect for two. Best motorcycle rides ever closeby. Our favorite was the Needles Hwy-Custer State Park-Iron Mountain Rd loop. Also Spearfish Canyon and Devils Tower. Close to Deadwood and other popular spots but quiet and beautifully tucked away in the hills. Our hosts were so welcoming, nice and helpful. Highly recommend!

Hidden Gem!
My husband and I stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday and absolutely LOVED this place! It's so quiet and cozy and the wildlife was fantastic! We arrived and immediately saw the yard full of wild bighorn sheep, which was surprising and very cool! The chickens and little friendly dog were a plus as well! Paul met us right away and showed us around the property, which was beautiful. The apartment is super cozy and very, very clean. He also had all of the necessary things to cook our own meals and completely make ourselves at home. The hot tub and sauna were awesome amenities that we enjoyed as well. The location is very close and convenient to get to Deadwood and all the activities the area has to offer and yet is very secluded and quiet. We will definitely be back!
