"Overall we were only there for one night and one day of fantastic pampering. It was very nice. The spa therapist gave me the best massage I have ever had - and I have had a few. The road to the lodge could be better but this is not in the control of the spa owners. A mix up with the booking resulted in us missing our evening meal. Carmen did however provide and impromptu meal which was lovely."

"Oak House was actually closed for refurbishment and management didn't have the decency to advise me despite having made an advance reservation for the Honeymoon Suite for several months! Additionally I called before making the 2 hour journey to get confirmation of secure parking and STILL was not advised that Oak House was closed for refurbishment! I arrived at Oak House and was unable to gain entry and the telephone number on which I had earlier in that day spoken to someone was now not...
