Other things to note
We will do our best to make sure your stay is enjoyable. Please do not hesitate to reach out with questions as the home is still new to us.
Wi-Fi- We have not yet hooked up the wi-fi so once we have, we'll add the details here.
TV- The TV is reliant on Wi-Fi and guests are welcome to sign into their own streaming accounts. A DVD player is also available in the Livingroom TV console.
Shower- The shower is located within the master bedroom. Guests will need to enter the master bedroom if they want to use the shower. The shower handle, when pointing up towards the shower head (or 12 o'clock) is in the off position. To turn the shower on, please rotate the shower handle in the clockwise position. The shower valve was installed backwards and hot water begins at 1 o'clock progressing colder as you approach the 6 o'clock position.
Front Door Deadbolt- The front door touch pad deadbolt takes a second or two to engage. Please wait for the sound of the dead bolt to complete prior to pushing the door open. It may stick momentarily otherwise.
Kitchenware- We strive to have a complete set of kitchenware for your stay though if there is something unique, you may want to plan to pack it. We have plates, silverware, glasses, coffee mug, coffee maker & paper filters for ground coffee (no pods), spatula, serving spoon, dish towels, oven mitt, mixing cups, cooking pot & lid, strainer, popcorn bowl, frying pan, cutting boards, whisk, can opener, scissors, long handle lighters, knife block, sponges, dish soap, drying rack, soup bowls, salad bowl, ice cube trays.
Grill- We strive to have cooking gas for the grill available in the grill. In the even you run out during your stay, a spare is available in the shed. Please notify us if the spare is used so that we can fill the remaining empty tank. If you do change a tank out, please let us know so we can fill the old tank for the next guest.
Coffee Maker- This is a conventional 12-cup coffee maker that utilizes paper filters for ground coffee. There are spare filters available. Please plan to pack your own pre-ground coffee.
Water- The water is drawn from the lake and mechanically filtered. There is a five gallon jug dispenser for potable water by the kitchen counter.
Awning- Inoperable at this time.
Taxes- Madison County requires a 4% occupancy tax on your stay in addition to the room rate. This may not be reflected until further in the booking process.
