Less than a minute walk to the Mill Market, 1min drive to the main street, this property was very convenient. The place was clean and has all the things you need for a weekend in Daylesford. It also has off street parking.

Thanks for having us
Really lovely property, we loved our stay. Only minor feedback I’d give is that our 16 month old was quite cold in his porta cot as we didn’t know how to get the heater to work on the bedrooms. We still really enjoyed our stay.

I can't see any recent reviews for the property, so I guess that should have been a flag. The place is dirty and in desperate need of some TLC. The floors hadn't been mopped in who-knows how long. Easily spotted by filthy socks after walking in the house. The skirting boards covered with dust. Mould in the bathroom sink and shower, leaking basin in the bathoom. Awful repair job to a broken floor in the toilet. Back door to the deck is damaged and unsealed so the weather and bugs just just blow or crawl straight in. The couches and cushions in the living room obviously aren't thoroughly cleaned often as there were hairs clearly visible on the cushions that weren't ours. All of this made us not want to turn on the heater, because without evidence that the house is regularly, thoroughly cleaned, we had little confidence that the heating would have been cleaned recently either, so we just dealt with the cold. The bedding and linen were fine, obviously this was the focus of the house-keeping staff. It's an older weatherboard home, there could be a lot of charm and warmth to the place, but it needs a repairs and a thorough clean. Paying what we paid for 4 nights during school holidays, we didn't expect a 5-star resort, but we still expected the place to be clean and maintained. All quite disappointing really. You want to feel comfortable stretching out and relaxing on holiday. The state of this house made that impossible.

The property had a charm about it. A mix of old and new. The living area was roomy and the heating was warm. Central to the town. A place where you have privacy.
