Condo clean & comfortable. We appreciated having necessities there; toilet paper, paper towels, hand soaps, beach & bath towels/wash cloths, dish towels/cloths, laundry detergent, dish soap, etc. There are even condiments in the refrigerator, cooking oils, canned goods, freezer food, etc. Internet/wifi was functional & fast. View from large balcony is gorgeous w/table, 6 chairs, & 2 chaise loungers. Owner provides beach wagon, chairs, & numerous other beach items. Primary bedroom king mattress is very firm & high. If you are short you may need help getting up on it. Queen bedroom mattress is the most comfortable soft mattress I’ve ever slept on. Ceiling fan in that room makes quite a racket so you probably can’t use it while sleeping. Condo had numerous books to read covering various topics from the Beatles, birding, fiction, non-fiction, & local areas. If you use the streaming services make sure to delete your account off the TV before you leave. We would definitely stay here again or at any other of the owner’s listings as well based on this experience. Some other general reflections on the area……………We found area to be quiet & laid back. Call ahead to any of the few restaurant or stores to confirm hours of operation. Don’t trust Facebook, website, or menus. Some places listed are closed & new places listed nowhere yet. Many places close at 8pm, open only on weekends, or have unusual hours. Some are take-out only. Parking at public beach areas is $10 daily. Low water pressure in showers for whole building. Would love to see a handheld shower head for those of us who have physical limitations. 1 standalone shower & 1 jacuzzi tub in primary bedroom & 1 shower/tub combo in 2nd bathroom. Bathtub is deep w/ high walls to step into or bathe children in if you have physical limitations. Fishing requires a license. Beach is a ¼ mile from the pool/beach entrance of condo building. Wood boardwalk for half the way (not in good shape). Tremendous amount of seaweed on beach & water. Outdoor pool is covered & about 90% shade which was great. Both pools could use a good cleaning. Tile on the interior of both pools were covered w/ pool scum & needs scrubbing. Decks need to be pressure washed. Other condo balconies had smokers, loud talkers, and music that you can hear from this balcony. Couldn’t hear/smell it inside condo. Common areas of the building (not condo) are dated & I wouldn’t call them luxury. I would say just average & some sprucing up needed.
