"Genuinely if you’re in the area and seeking a tranquil little refuge. Look no further. Take it from a guy (me) who books everything last minute. I just happened to pick this place after a long day of hiking and traveling, only to discover how nice it was after. Clean cabins with wonderful owners. Close to everything in the nearby towns, but feels like you’re deep in the woods for a retreat. 10/10. "

"Because of the Can AM tournament we were upgraded and it was unbelievable. Walking distance from everything. There was some mix up with transaction and deposit but the manager was amazing and so nice (which is something we’re not used to) I would recommend this hotel for a getaway, it felt like being home. Awesome "

"We love staying at the Crown Plaza! The views from every room are beautiful, the staff is always pleasant and happy to help, and the room is always clean and comfortable. We especially love the convenience of the location to all the best shops and restaurants in Lake Placid, you can park and don't have to move your car again because everything is walkable from the hotel. "My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and for just the 2 of us it was good. The rooms are very basic but super clean. The walls are extremely thin and you can hear everything in the next room. We were on the first floor and we heard every footstep that the people above us made so staying here with children or if you are a light sleeper may not be suitable for you. "We had an amazing three-night stay at Ledgerock Lodge. From the start, Mr. Rogger and his son made us feel right at home, like part of the family. The view from our balcony was incredible, looking out at the Whiteface Mountains and the beautiful fall colors. Walked down the bobsled run in Lake Placid. They also give rides over the summer. Very cool experience to see this course up close and personal. Also check out the Ski High Jump in Lake Placid. Beautiful views from the top.

Great Property at a Reasonable Price

"We had a great time at the ADK Trail Inn. It was probably one of the most unusual stays we've ever had at a hotel. It is the off season and we were the only guests, which made it very quiet -- our favorite thing in the world. Amy, the owner informed us in advance that this would be the case, and we did not find it problematic. The ADK Inn is older, but very clean and homey. It is in beautiful Upper Jay, which has a very remote feel, but is still really close to Keene, Keene Valley, and all the trails. The brown bag breakfast was sufficient to sustain us on our hikes, and the coffee was delicious and ready for us really early in the morning. We had a power outage on one of the days, when I needed the Internet for a podcast. Amy immediately addressed this issue for us on very short notice and made a private room available at the owner's other property. We also met Wayne, who was equally kind and welcoming. This was an excellent experience at a very reasonable price. We highly recommend it!"

Amazing Log Cabin Getaway

"We had a wonderful stay at the Log Cabin! My partner and I previously stayed at their river house and it was magical. We were so excited to return to another Warner’s Camp properly with our friends. The hot tub and sauna were amazing, and the decor was charming! The kitchen is adorable and the little extra cabins are so cool. 10/10, we will definitely be back!"

3 Bed House Perfect as a Base Camp to all the Mountains around Lake Placid!

The best host!

"We stayed here for a family trip a few years back and then decided to re-book for a solo trip this year with our two pups! We unfortunately could not make the trip last minute but the host was so kind and helpful with this news. From our previous stay I can say that the location of this rental is the BEST if you are coming to hike around the ADK. The house itself was well kept and there was plenty of space for the 5 of us. We will definitely be re-booking a trip here again soon! "

Winter Wonderland! Six miles to Whiteface Mountain!

Relaxing getaway!

"We enjoyed our stay here for Canadian Thanksgiving. The cabin is furnished and decorated perfectly to provide a real cozy atmosphere. It’s exceptionally comfortable. The photos don’t do it justice. Very well stocked. Amazing privacy along the river bed. Close to trails. Excellent views of the fall colours. A short drive to the busy areas of Lake Plscid. Enjoyed Flume Falls and going on the Cloud splitter gondola up Whiteface Mon. Will stay again! "

"Clean and comfortable. 2 bedroom 2 bath is a big plus. balcony is in front of a wooded area with a creek. Price is good too. Close to Lake Placid (but much less crowded) and the fall foliage along the way is very beautiful. Some suggestions: 1. Each apartment should has a hairdryer 2. We are in 5A, would feel safer if the door to the balcony has a blind or curtain as it is directly towards the bedroom. 3. Many cleaned cups and mugs, but it would be ideal to provide a few disposable ones. Overall, it was a good experience and highly recommend!"

Clean and comfortable

"Parson Place was super roomy, super comfortable and super clean. We were a group of 4 (2 couples). The floorplan is actually really large, so we each had our own space when desired (one person could read at one end of the house without being disturbed by TV watching at the other end of the house.) But we all could hang out comfortably together too by the impressive fireplace. Location was perfect for us. Quiet and wooded but near enough to Lake Placid, hiking and an even we were attending at Mt VanHoevenburg."

"The house was clean, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed. The location is perfect for hiking in the Dacks! The only thing was that it was a bit cold inside the house even we turned up the heat. I would definitely stay here again."
