"Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. Every shower had mold and mildew (and gross amounts of caulking) and mine included a sliver of dried bar soap complete with black speck inside the soap dish. The pillows were the kind you might...

"Pros: - beautiful interior design has a luxurious yet cozy feel - warm and comfy, a great getaway from the winter storms outside - walls of windows make for an amazing view - all the amenities you need for your stay (we cooked, made coffee, listened to music on their Bluetooth speaker, took a bath) - short walk/drive to a convenience store/gas station - finding it was easy with Google maps (but there’s no signage otherwise) Cons - none! "The house is in a perfect location to see the majority of sites on the western side of Ireland. It’s quiet, with plenty of privacy, nestled next to a lake filled with wildlife. Will definitely stay at the house again if I come back to visit Ireland."
