Cozy & Peaceful Painted Rocks Lake Cabin w/Hot Tub adjacent to West Fork River

Outdoor person’s paradise & great location for the family 1/2 mile from Painted Rocks Lake State Park and a short walking distance to fishing access on the West Fork River. Lost Trail Powder Mountain is approx 55 minutes drive. This private cozy cabin is nestled up against the woods where there is an abundance of wildlife. Enjoy your coffee & breakfast on the front deck while listening to the West Fork River or relax on the back patio in the hot tub or eat dinner at the picnic table near the fire pit in the evening. Incredible views of the Painted Rocks cliffs create a perfect setting and a relaxed atmosphere. Bring your special wood for smoking your meat on the smoker BBQ grill on the South deck - NOTE: Please do not touch the right side of the hot tub control panel which is programming and temperature. There are exterior cameras facing the front, at the garage, facing the front door and facing the back of the property. We have the new Elon Musk Starlink unlimited Internet and the download speeds are fast. Upload speeds are similar to what we get at our home

Relaxing vacation
This was a wonderful, relaxing vacation. The cabin was very comfortable, cozy and clean. There was so much to do such as, many hiking trails, rivers to sit next to and enjoy a book, or fish. Highly recommend this cabin and vacation if you want a memorable experience.

What a wonderful stay. Exactly what you think of when you picture a secluded Montana cabin. The cabin was very well stocked for any length of stay. A little warm during the summer but was still an enjoyable stay. A bit far away from shopping so make sure to plan your meal planning. We loved having coffee on the beautiful deck and the hot tub was the perfect way to end the day. Donna’s communication was quick and always helpful. Would absolutely stay again.

It was great, only downfall was it was hot in the cabin from 3-8pm due to the sun coming in the windows and no central air but that was the only negative everything else was great, seen wildlife in back yard, enjoyed the hot tub & views!

Cozy Cabin
We really did like the cabin, but there were a few thing that would of made our stay even better. The hot tub was awesome but there was no lite out to the back which made it difficult for my downs syndrome daughter to walk safety to the tub. It was also hard to use the grill for the same reason. This is definitely a beautiful place and I would recommend it to everyone I know.

Beautiful and well maintained cabin in an incredible area. The hot tub was great after hiking and some surprise snow. My only note for anyone thinking about renting is to keep in mind that there isn’t cell reception and the cabin has limited wifi

Exactly what we were looking for!
We wanted a cabin in the mountains to immerse ourselves in the Montana way of life, and that is exactly what we got. My favorite moment was when a deer came up to us in the hot tub. The cabin itself was very clean and very homey, and we were very happy with the hot tub, grill, and beautiful views from any room in the cabin. I absolutely loved staying here, it was like a dream come to life! 💞

Peaceful stay near state park
We were looking for a peaceful place to avoid fireworks over Fourth of July, but have plenty of outdoor things to do with our dog. The cabin did not disappoint! It was clean and had all of the amenities we could ask for. The hot tub was particularly nice. It was a two minute drive to the Lake and lots of nearby trails. The drive to town was not that long (and has beautiful scenery). Donna is incredibly responsive and communicates well. Read the instructions she sends because it contains a lot of helpful information that will make your stay go smoothly! Thanks and we would love to stay here again!

Cozy, beautiful location
We cooked dinner and breakfast at the property and enjoyed the hot tub twice. The rental was cozy, the beds comfy. We didnt use the TV, but was able to connect to internet with our cell phones. The property had many cameras outside,not that we had anything to hide so nothing that would prevent us from renting again, but it was noted it seemed like a lot. The view from the property was beautiful especially in the morning light. The hot tub was hot and nicely situated behind the cabin. Recommend.

Great Cabin getaway!
Donna's cabin is the perfect place to stay to get away and relax! Surrounded by the Bitterfoot Forest and Painted Rocks lake makes for a serene setting. We had 6 guests in the house and never felt crowded, although most the time we were out exploring the very nearby attractions. There is no cell service around the cabin but the wifi at the property worked great, even for streaming. The hot tub was such a pleasure, it was large and very clean. There are neighbors closer by but not too close that it eliminates privacy. It was also nice to know people were nearby in the case of an emergency since there is no service and town is around 20-30 minutes away. Highly recommend!
