"The area is beautiful. An unspoilt part of France that has much to offer. Jenny our host lives next door to this traditional gite. She met us on arrival and was hugely welcoming. Throughout our stay she advised things to do and places to eat. We kayaked, hiked, climbed and went on the luge. The gite has all things you might need to stay. We often cooked at home. Une seule douche avec lavabo situés dans l'arrière cuisine avec le lave-linge et le lave-vaisselle (peu performant). Un WC accessible après l'arrière cuisine. A l'étage 1 chambre parentale avec 1 WC et 1 lave-mains (fuite d'eau), et 1 chambre avec 2 lits simples + 1 réduit sous les combles avec 1 autre lit. "According to Catherine, we were the first English to stay at the property. Presumably most Brits come to Normandy to see the Beaches and WW2 memorials. But there's so much more - and the very comfortable and well equipped la P'tite Maison provides an excellent base to visit towns like Bayeux, Caen and Falaise (with memories of conquests 900 years earlier), and attractive countryside like the Suisse Normande.
