This was a very nice condo! We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again!
Went for Chris Young concert & location was prime! Food/coffee/adult beverages within walking distance and right next to the pavilion. Will definitely come back !
We came to celebrate my sister’s birthday. It was just the right amount of sleeping and living space! Very comfortable beds and pillows. We enjoyed going to Links, Dog Eared book store and the tea room above it! We got to go to the markets opening and the science museum! We had a great family stay!
This was just what I needed to visit family near by. Great location and cute condo. Could have used a few extra supplies like paper towels and more bath towels too though.
Came to Danville to visit a dying friend. Very convenient location ,local food in the area was wonderful. The location being next to the river and the nature trail was amazing. I sat outside watching birds both mornings. Thanks so much.
Very interesting historic renovation. Great location next to the river. Close to River walking paths and downtown. Everything you need and easy ground floor access.
it was a great little apartment. kind of had an industrial feel inside but overall it was nice. frieaght train tracks are near by but didnt seem to have much traffic.
This is a nice place, easily accessible on the ground floor. The 2-bedroom is roomy, big tv, comfortable beds, nice kitchen. My only concern, and this is no fault of the owners, is that the freight train noise is fairly loud. I could hear the train whistle all through the night. Sorry, but this must be a probelm for anyone in this part of town.
Clean, quiet, exactly as described. Responsive hosts. The next time I go to Danville I would stay there again. The décor is perfect for the atmosphere of the place. Great sheets and kitchen extras. I could not have been happier. If you look out the living room window, you can even see a little waterfall. The friend I went to meet was impressed by the place as well.
We chose this property because of it's location near the tank museum. We were pleasantly surprised by this up and coming area in Danville. This property is right by the beautiful river walk, a dog park, an amphitheater, farmer's market and children's museum. There are several restaurants within walking distance and we enjoyed every one we ate at. The property itself had everything we needed, was comfortable and easy to get to. The owner was friendly and easy to communicate with. We had a great weekend in Danville.
The apt was open concept. It was very clean and quiet. The kitchen was stocked with items we used to do our own cooking, and storage of the left overs in the frig. The washer/dryer was very handy. The master bed was very comfortable. The living room furniture was comfortable. The stay over all was awesome in the River District, being in a old tobacco factory building. The farmer's market was next door as was the Science center. Initially it was confusing at how to get into the building through the proper entrance, but with help from VRBO and Kim calling to assist us, it was fine after the initial hiccup!!! If we are ever in the area again we would definitely try and stay there again !!
My daughter and I stayed at this property for a competition at Averett University. The apartment is unique in that it's in a converted warehouse. This apartment was literally in the corner of the building and was built over a creek. It was quiet and comfortable with the exception of an occasional train passing through the area. The tracks are close to the building. I thought it quaint but it might wake you up if you are a light sleeper. The apartment has plenty of room for a party of 2-4 with comfortable beds. You have a separate entrance that is shared with 2 other vrbos and reserved parking. The neighbor is unique and architecturally interesting as it's a reimagined warehouse district along the river. It was a very sleepy neighborhood but that could be the time of year that we stayed at the property which was in late winter. There are plenty of restaurants within a short walk or drive. The host was very quick to respond to our messages. And accessing the property was easy.
This was my third booking with this group's properties and was another winner. I select a different one each time, and loved how quiet this one was but how close it is to restaurants, coffee shops, even a cool Saturday morning Farmers Market that I stumbled across. It's a corner unit overlooking a little wooded valley with a stream from two of the windows, which reminded me of my first apartment ever (but was nicer). I will be back!
Very cute and quaint place… upon arriving, we did find a few dead bugs on the floor. Also, the toilet had been flushed but there was still some remnants. We chose to just flush it/clean the bugs up and not contact the host, but definitely made me wonder how well it had been cleaned since the last guests (which I’m assuming was the night before since this was the only night it was available for us to rent.) Walking from the parking lot, you do have to pass by the trash dumpsters which do not smell great. Nothing the host can do about that though. The bedroom ceilings are open which was not a problem for us but could be for some people with kids etc when getting up earlier than some in your party or if some are going to bed earlier than others. Overall, it worked for us. Felt safe and seemed like a great location for maybe walking to some restaurants etc. The host communicated with us well prior to arriving and check in was easy.
