"The hotel staff were friendly, the breakfast offered included a variety of food, and was easy walking distance to the old town. The dinner menu did not offer a variety of good and as expensive. In addition, the bar was closed on the nights we were there."

"Good hotel with amazingly clean rooms. Room was big and recently renovated, lots of space and nice touches like tea and coffee in the room. Big windows let in loads of natural light, and opening windows allowed fresh air which was nice. The location allows for easy access and parking, and then it's a very short walk to the centre of the historic town. Friendly team and good breakfast. As some other people commented, no, they don't speak English - but it turns out the hotel is in Germany, so...

"slightly quirky room and hotel layout. eg my room door opened into the room with a pillar imnediately behind it!. Food was excellent in the resteraunt, the hotel is set back from the village and it was lovely to be close to the woods and deer in the enclosure outside. Staff very helpfull."

"Stayed a couple of nights, and it was a very pleasant moment. Staff was nice and friendly. The bed and bathroom was perfectly clean and tidy. The hotel & restaurant is located within a residential area. There is an old monumental building just across the hotel. Breakfast was excellent."

"Nice boutique hotel in an easily walkable location in Quedlinburg. Room was quiet and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was better than average and parking was easy. Loved the area and would happily return to this hotel in the future. "

"Great hotel close to nature, pity couldn't explore around because were only staying for short period and for work. Hotel was nice, not a usual city modern hotel. Restaurant was good, they have set menu each day for dinner and food was amazing. Good choice for breakfast as well."

"The hotel lighting is very limited, really uncomfortable to stay. Breakfast is not delicious for room rate that I paid. The pillow look like not really pillow for sleep. I don’t want to come back to this hotel. "

"This was our 3rd visit to Torfhaus Resort Hotel. It is our favorite. The location in the Harz Mountains is serene, but also full of possibilities for hiking, biking, and quick travel to picturesque towns. The houses/cabins at the resort are maintained in excellent condition. There is plenty of room for a family. We enjoy sitting on the deck with a meal and looking at the beautiful views of the forest. "Fantastic staff from first contact at reception to the gentleman serving at the bar. The set menu in the evening was fantastic, as was the breakfast buffet. The building is very attractive. Some of the interior would benefit from an update. We will definitely return."

"Wer eine besondere Unterkunft sucht,ist hier genau richtig. Super sauber,alles da,was man braucht. Jederzeit wieder. Wer Treppen scheut,sollte logischerweise hier nicht einkehren. Man hat aber immer seinen Sport am Tag. Danke für die schöne Zeit hier."
