"Quiet area. Easy access to St Lô. Old building. Polystyrene ceiling tiles in bedroom.Fire hazard? Very comfy bed. Very steep, dangerous stairs to room. Owner very nice but did ask for payment again even though we pre-paid. Basic continental breakfast but only 3 euros each.Overall, for a one night stopover after a 9 hour drive,it did the job."

"The owner, Chantal and her husband where very accommodating. Although she had no record of our booking there was no issue and she gave us a really nice room with en suite. La Feuillie is a lovely area in the bocage, about 6km from Periers. Breakfast was very nice too, each day we had baguette , brioche, home made cake and 6-7 various jams, all home made. We were made very welcome and I would return."

For several years we have toured the Somme and Ypres but this year we wanted to tour the Normandy landing beaches. What a gem of a find for accommodation. Jenny and Chris live in a beautiful, characteristic farm house, it ouses the charm of its hosts. Their house is out in the wonderful French countryside but is within striking distance of all of the D Day...
