"The property was perfect for our needs, 3 generations of family wanting a quiet break in really beautiful countryside. The excellent house facilities and outside garden, pool & seating areas provided that. The countryside around is beautiful, set on the edge of a small pretty village. Unfortunately the only shop was closed for refurbishment so it was a 20min drive to do the croissant run in the morning,"

"Really nice house in a peaceful scenic location. Very rustic, French house. Gardens are really nice with outdoor eating areas, seating, hammocks and ping pong. Location is great for catching a train from Vernon to various places - we traveled to Rouen and Paris. Laurent as host is very pleasant, relaxed and helpful!"

We arrived 8 hours' late due to Tunnel delays, the host was extremely accommodating and arranged for the key to be left for us. The property is beautiful. "I had the worst experience with a host. After I booked and paid through Vrbo, for 48 nights for 14 persons, the owner asked for an additional payment of 42% of the price. I thought it is unbelievable. I did not accept this, I wanted to cancel. After some days of messaging, when the emergency state was imposed in France and she realized she will not get other guests, she accepted my offer to pay a small additional amount and finalized the booking.
