"Agréable séjour, dommage du temps pas toujours de la partie Maison agréable et bien agencée, belle décoration, pourvue de tout ce qui facilite un séjour comme a la maison. Voisinage tranquille, accès au centre ville a pied, belle promenade autour et a l intérieur des remparts. Ville centrale pour visiter les Charentes comme les deux Sèvres Je recommande vivement , merci a Josiane et a son mari de nous avoir loué votre maison pour ces 15 jours."

The photos really do not do this house justice - it is much bigger than you expect - lots of 'extra' spaces with seating, including a mezzanine with desk and futon, so plenty of space for teenagers to spread out . "This is the quietest holiday on record for us and we always look for quiet locations. The house is a charm and François and Claudine made for the most hospitable hosts. The Vendée has so much to offer and we loved the safe cycling on flat roads using the bikes that came with the property. It’s about an hour to La Rochelle and in east reach of many delightful villages. Highly recommended"
