Owner requested 100 euro’s for 7 days use of hot tub. Externally on arrival the grass was not cut, pool had not been cleaned and Wi-Fi was inoperable. Pool was cleaned on arrival, Wi-Fi was repaired following day. Grass was not cut. The owners dog used the long grass at the end of the pool to do it’s business. We will not return to this...

"I never got to meet Sylvie and partner they were away on business, however Nicole kindly came to my rescue when i became lost. She came to my location in her car and I followed her to the property. The neighbours were very kind and supplied me with water, eggs, tomatoes and beer. The property was great. Very clean. Everything is there for you. I can recommend it for a great stay."

"We had a lovely stay at the château in August 2022. The house is classically French and spacious. The star of the show is the outside space. There's outdoor speakers, a lovely long sloping garden with trees for shade, a huge pool and lounger area and you're surrounded by sunflower fields. The owners were easy to get hold of when we had questions. All in all a brilliant holiday, we'd definitely go back."

The pool is lovely, though too cold for me to get in, but the kids did and enjoyed it. That would be my only criticism - a heated pool would be nice! Close to a supermarket - only 5 mins in the car, Surgeres,close by, is a lovely little town to explore and also has a train station to get to La Rochelle, Paris, etc! Highly recommended."
