"The house was lovely. Had everything we needed as advertised. Unfortunately, the town of Damascus was devastated by a flood due to Hurricane Helene. We lost power about 9:40am on 9/27. Also, lost water around the same time. We had to evacuate around 5:30pm on 9/27. We apologize for not being able ..."

"It is a very convenient location. Across the street is the Grocery store with gasoline and the pizza/sandwich shop. Later, we did walk 250 yards to the brewery. Small parking area for a large p/u truck. Biggest drawback is that it is only 15 feet from the main road going through Damascus, which tends ..."

Close to the creeper trail! Perfect getaway.

I highly recommend Blue Blaze bike rental and shuttle if you are going to visit the creeper trail. The Damascus diner is very good and you have to stop by Little Bits Baking for a cinnamon roll.
