The staff are doing their best and very friendly, housekeeping is trying hard too but... it could actually be quite nice except this property has SERIOUS maintenance issues. My first room had leaky pipes, after a shower the entire bedroom carpet was soaked. They quickly moved me to another room except neither of the TVs worked, the kitchen sink wouldn't drain and there was no hot water.

It was good for the price, a lot of space and the room was clean and staff very friendly. The area leading up to the room smelled like pee and in the room the tvs need and upgrade (seemed early 2000s tvs), the curtain had a huge hole ripped into it, and they didn't refill the shampoo or body wash. I'd recommend it though for an affordable stay.

Overnight desk staff locks front door after hours. Denied access to elevators until 6am each day. Reported incident to property manager, David. He assured me that was a one time incident. The very next night, the door was locked again, this time without a note. Forced to climb 3 flights of stairs to reach room.

Bordering on mediocre at best…
I’ll start by saying that the staff was very nice and accommodating and this place is good if you’re desperate (it’s safe, etc), but maintenance and cleanliness are SERIOUSLY lacking here. The pics are definitely not representative of the rooms. Also, housekeeping only came by once in my 3 week stay and asking for towels and/or bedding was weird.

Place is over priced and underserviced. Breakfast was not remotely worth the added cost. Multiple parts of my room were broken or not functional to the point of being unable to actually fully use the bathroom. Upon asking front desk multiple times for help, no help was provided. Noteworthy cockroach problem, not helped by a door to the outside that doesn’t seal at the bottom.

I’ve stayed at many Sonesta properties before. This particular location is a no/woildn’t stay again. It was creepy, smelled bad. There were no hangers for clothes, limited towels, no toiletries. I was booked for a week and left after 2 days. Someone was in my room and left trash behind - I’m guessing it was maintenance but would’ve been nice to get a notification as I specifically didn’t have a maintenance request. I do not recommend this location.

Microwave is not working. There's no trashcan. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers are empty. There were no additional rolls of toilet paper. For breakfast, options are very limited. The brown sugar was completely hard and unusable. The oatmeal was runny and not fit to eat. There were no towels available when we asked for two more towels. They added $175 dollar charge (temporary) for incidentals. Seriously, what could incidentals possibly be when basic items were not available. I would specifically recommend NOT staying here.
