Not terrible, not great
This property was okay but we encountered several issues. Some were able to be addressed quickly such as the sheets needed to be changed and there were some plumbing issues that the property manager sent someone out to fix right away. However it was pretty warm outside and the second bedroom doesn’t have a ceiling fan so it was very warm and the other person ended up sleeping downstairs on the couch. The other thing that I wish was mentioned in the listing is that the parking garage is fairly narrow, not a problem if you drive a car/mid size SUV but our large truck wouldn’t fit so we had to park outside the complex on the street. VRBO was very helpful in getting these things resolved, as was the local property manager to the best of their ability. It just was disappointing for the amount paid.

Work trip going into Labor Day Vacation
Since this doesn’t allow enough characters to give every detail, I’ll give the run down; Upon arrival the gate was broken and Management forgot to follow up once the did get it fixed so we could enter the complex. Once in, there was LITERAL GARBAGE PILED AND LEAKING EVERYWHERE IN THE GARAGE; THE STENCH WAS STOMACH TURNING. THERE WAS NO ELECTRICITY AND IT DID NOT COME ON UNTIL 6:45 PM - all of this cost us to miss very important work dinner plans. A major reason we were out here. The oven was not functioning and flashing a huge error message, and then upon leaving one morning two random men in a truck were trying to come through the front door, as we were exiting via the garage (they knew the code to the key box and were looking for it..) stating they were coming to fix the oven (thus providing confirmation that ownership rented this place with knowledge of appliances not working and having gotten caught sending someone, as they later denied) The master shower drain is so full of hair, it creates a mini wadding pool, we tried to help, and in fact probably cleaned more upon our check out then the place was prior to our arrival. There’s so much more, as this experience was absolutely head spinning ridiculously bad, and the customer service provided by the management team was even worse. The lack of time manner follow-ups, or even one at all where not having to reach out to them again, was mind blowing given it’s a vacational rental company and not the home owner.

great place
we enjoyed our stay at this home for a quick weekend trip to dallas! everything was kept very clean and organized. the kitchen was very nicely stocked and the beds were comfy. our only issue was the lack of the advertised wifi which unfortunately was not resolved on our short stay. the house was in a great location with easy access to downtown and the bishop arts district
