The surrounding area was beautiful and great for walking. All in all one of the best short breaks we’ve ever had."

"We have just returned from a wonderful relaxing stay in this beautiful cottage which has been decorated and laid out to a very high standard. Everything in the cottage had been thought of to enhance and make our stay so comfortable and enjoyable - The welcome basket was also a lovely additional touch. The hot tub is a great addition and great for relaxing in after a day exploring the local beautiful countryside. "I would have given this five stars but it is extremely expensive to stay in this house and while we were actually quite happy to not have Wifi or indeed phone reception, we were frustrated and disappointed to be told we couldn't use the superior Wifi connection in the café. There should be somewhere to download things and send the odd email for half an hour with a decent connection. "

"This a nice little house in Alferton, it was great for myself, a friend and my large dog. It was well equipped and comfortable. It was a little dated upstairs and there was no photos of details of the bedrooms but they were clean and well catered. My friend who stayed in the back room noted the boiler (which is in that room) is very noisy and kept her up but that wouldn’t bother some people.
