"This is a truly impressive house. The short title of the listing is absolutely correct; it is a stunning location. You are practically in your own forest with a Loch just a minute's walk. There are lots of walks around the house, and it is completely peaceful. There is an abundance of wildlife in the garden, including pheasants, Red Squirrels and hundreds of birds. "The house was a perfect home-away-from home for our family of 6 adults! Everything we needed was provided, and made it easy for us to have meals at the house once we acquired some groceries from Aldi. The beds were super comfortable and the showers were perfect! "We really enjoyed the City Centre Cottage. It was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for the six of us. Kitchen was fully stocked and we cooked several meals there. Very much appreciated the wood burning fireplace and the logs that were provided. Just a short walk to the center of the city! Definitely recommend."

It's a bit old and worn in places, but is certainly liveable. The location is really great! Close to the wobbly bridge for walks into "downtown" and very handy to the Aldi -- literally up the street! "Negatives: There was an overwhelming damp/off smell when we first entered the apartment which I later discovered came from the vacuum cleaner when I used it. The bathroom light and hot water tap didn't work and the duvet for the sofa bed had a yellow stain on it. The "free kids club" is a run down cabin in which you pay £1 per game of pool (don't expect chalk). There are no plug sockets beside the bedroom mirror/dressing table. The bar area was always empty. Positives: The area is fantastic....
