"Cottage was clean and well presented with lots of extra touches. Netflix was a bonus! Unfortunately the management company let down the whole experience. Security deposit required prior to releasing check in information, and we emailed them when we found a mouse in the property but they failed to respond. Also the cleaner was waiting for us to leave which wasn’t great! Parking is limited but luckily we found a space on arrival. Dog friendly but be aware no enclosed yard and dogs are not...

"Not a bad property for a short stay. Close to the City Center. Parking was a little hit and miss and wasn't sure of the actual area itself from a safety point of view. "

"We really enjoyed our stay in these combined cottages which have been refurbished to a high standard. The setting beside the river is lovely - saw kingfishers and herons. Beds v comfortable, bathrooms good. Worth mentioning that all bedrooms are up stairs, but our party, whch included 2 with walking difficulties managed fine. We are very likely to come back"

"Stunning cottage in the best location. We didn’t have a car so location was key. Within a couple of minutes walk you are in the Chatsworth Estate. The local bus stop is just across the road which is great for using the hop on hop off open top bus in the summer. Also a great Italian restaurant in Baslow. I highly recommend this cottage & will definitely rebook. "
