September Get Away
We truly enjoyed our stay! The house is very conveniently located near Dahlonega and a short drive from the nearby vineyards. We enjoyed the privacy this property offers, the walking trails, creek and small stocked fish pond. It was still a bit warm early in our stay so we didn’t have a chance to stay in the bunk house or tree house, but the offer a great chance to glamp out in the woods. The porch is large and we spent a lot of time relaxing out there while enjoying the fresh air. The owner is very nice and communicated often to make sure we had everything we need. We’d give our stay a big thumbs up!!

Great location and atmosphere!
What an amazing property! The seclusion and peacefulness were much appreciated. Adults, kids and dogs loved exploring the creeks and property. The additional bunk house and tree house were a wonderful touch. Mrs. Jimmie was very welcoming and thoughtful. We loved to swim in the pond in the afternoons. The family all want to come back next year!

Family Vacation
What an amazing vacation!! We had the opportunity to stay in the heart of nature! The house was so cozy, especially the beds, and equipped with everything! Jimmie could not have been more welcoming and accommodating! The property has wonderful trails, a beautiful bunkhouse, and a fairytale style treehouse! We were able to feed the fish daily as well as throw a line in for catch and release! Evenings were highlighted by fireflies! A firepit allowed for s'mores and family time. Even the rain was gorgeous as it gently toppled down from the canopies of trees! We are very thankful for our time at Frog Call!

This place is AMAZING
The Frog Call might be our favorite VRBO that we've ever stayed at! This place is so beautiful and peaceful, I recommend you stop reading now and book it before someone else does. We had so much fun swimming in the lake with our elderly pup and exploring the property. The treehouse is awesome. Oh and the master bed was so comfortable. Thank you Jimmie for sharing your wonderful cabin with the rest of us. We are already planning our trip back!

A Tranquil Adventure
We loved our way too short (two nights) visit to Frog Call. We are in our 70's and came for my husband's birthday. The house is extremely accessible and is filled with fascinating stuff. The kitchen is well-stocked with more pots, pans and gadgets than I have at home--I was able to cook a fancy dinner with ease. Everything written in the description ot his property is accurate. There are plenty of trails to explore, the bunk house and other cabin are well worth seeing and the golf cart makes life easy for anyone having difficulty walking. Feeding the fish is kind of fun and sitting on the HUGE screened in porch could easily turn into a lifestyle!!! Jimmie went out of her way for us and there was even a delicious birthday cake for my husband in the fridge. We already are thinking about making a return trip next year with friends. A real 10 out of 10. We feel very fortunate to have found this lovely place.

A little bit of Heaven!
Back to the basics with nature. Property was amazing! Cabin quaint and comfortable, master bath artsy eclectic, fishing pond beautiful and well-stocked, birds and wind chimes serene, sweet silence that brings you much peace in this volatile world. Jimmie’s retreat is a gem, and so is she, above and beyond accommodating. Will definitely 100% be returning when we need to decompress and recenter. Thank you for this gift.

Another Great Stay!
This was our 3rd trip to Frog Call, and it was wonderful as always! We love the beautiful property - the fish pond, the field, the woods with hiking trails and creeks. It is perfection! The cabin is very cozy too, with an incredible Master Bath! Our dog and children had a blast as well.

Peaceful beautiful property
We were looking for a peaceful getaway out of the hustle of the city. This was perfect. A private pond, lots of land for the dogs to run around and perfect for decompressing. Jimmie was always available if we needed her, and was so kind. We have rented from many properties (some good, some not so much) but we will be back to this one. Thank you for the lovely stay!!

This is a special place that words simply can’t describe. This was our second visit and the first with the kids. It was amazing to share this place with them and watch as they explored and learned more about themselves on adventures around the property. We plan on returning again and again.

Fun with the Family
What a great time we had at Frog Call! No TV is a novelty for the kids, but we played cards and games, hiked, fed the junior fish, and enjoyed the quiet. The kids found entertainment outside playing and pretending the way kids should 😊 We got a 100% from everyone to come back to Frog Call, hopefully in the spring.!

Amazing place!
We went to Dahlonega to go to the Gold Rush and didn't really spend too much time there because all we wanted to do is enjoy the 50+ beautiful acres we had rented! We hiked, took the canoe out on the pond, fed the fish, grilled hot dogs and marshmallows over an open fire, slept in the treehouse and drove the golf cart around the property to let some elders see more of the property. And that's not even an exhaustive list of what all you can do at Frog Call. If you like being outdoors and enjoying nature, you will love this place. Even if you are a recluse, you will love the views and the open land and privacy of the space. Can't say enough good things about this property! I'd return next week if I could...:-)

So Peaceful
We gathered for my birthday. While family stayed overnight, others came out for the day. The setting was very private and peaceful. A huge bonus was the fact that our dogs were able to come with us. We went for walks off leash daily and they swam in the pond every day. We also enjoyed the cold water of the creek on hot days. The cabin itself is well equipped and the Master Bedroom and Bath is beautiful with a shower and bathtub that overlook a bucolic scene. We will rent again.

Great get away
We really enjoyed our time at Frog Call. If you are looking to take a break from the chaos of a busy life, I highly recommend it. We had smores by the pond, took several long walks, and woke up early just to appreciate the quiet. We also went over to Helen and checked the sites. Helen is very busy with visitors, so it was nice to come back to the quiet. Thanks again for the wonderful visit.

Amazing Property- stay here
Frog Call is an amazing property! Very beautiful, with lots of room to explore and relax. The cabin is great with a big screened in porch that my family loved. The flooring is a really cool textured tile that makes me think of mountain stone. There is an awesome creek the kids loved that runs through a lot of the property and the pond is amazing. The water is a beautiful green and the landscaping at the pond and in front of the cabin is really nice. This is a unique place to relax and spend good quality time in nature. It was nice to be in such a unique setup, not just another house. Can’t say enough good things about this property. We will definitely stay again!

Wonderful property!
We enjoyed our stay, despite some bad luck with rainy weather. The large screened porch provided a great place to enjoy nature even in the rain. The property is truly unique, with hiking trails and a large pond. Neither my wife nor I are fishermen, but we did enjoy feeding the fish twice a day. Dahlonega is a lovely area, and this 52 acre property is a short drive from the shops and restaurants.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Frog Call. The home was cozy and the beds were comfortable. The property was wonderful. It was lovey to unwind, get back to nature, and finally relax. The children enjoyed exploring and hiking. The fish pond was great! The Bunk House and Treehouse were very charming additions. We hope to come back again. Frog Call scores an A+ in our book.
