"Our stay at the Secret Garden was just what we needed after 10 days of travels. From the miment we arrived on the island to the moment we left, the staff were so helpful and attentive. The room was exactly as it was in the photos and had great touches such as the bag for the beach towels and the pot for washing sand off our feet. The restaurant has a diverse menu and caters well for vegetarians / vegans but my only complaint would be that while the quality of the food was great, it lacked flavour and was a little bland"

"We loved the resort! It was beautiful and the beach was stunning. The staff was wonderful! Especially Chan Ny. He was very attentive and accommodating for us. We did have one safety issue/ concern with an unwanted guest on the property. The staff took care of this immediately and after the one issue- it was not a problem again. The only recommendation that I would have is to enclose the gyn so that there are no mosquitos (it was swarming every day) and so that the air conditioner works. The air conditioner was running every day, but because the gym is not kept enclosed, it did not work very well and I am sure it was expensive to the resort. They are working on expanding and building at the moment, but it never did disrupt our vacation and it was great to see that this place is doing well. I would definitely return! "

"This is a nice peaceful resort. Only 20 minute walk along beach to bars/restaurants. The Staff here are very helpful and pleasant. The beach in front is kept very clean by the resort. Breakfast good. Free use of kayak and paddleboard. We took a dome room on the beach. All the rooms have nice little patios. Good housekeeping. Would come back."

"We stayed here back in 01/2018 and went back 01/2025. This hotel is still a 10/10. The staffs were helpful, the breakfast was great, and the location is where you want to be. The tiny thing I dislike was the shower. The water would get all over the floor, poor design… I would go back and also recommend this hotel for all travelers. "

"This was a perfect island get away. The staff was exceptional. The owners were involved. More like a family affair with a wonderful community feel. Over the Holidays they organized games in the restaurant to include everyone (I was solo and never felt left out). I even had a medical issue and the owner and a local pulled me aside and gave me some excellent and very timely information that saved me from some real problems. I extended my stay even longer, which was lucky as they were booked out all the other days."
