Very pleasant staff, nice rooms, lots of options in breakfast buffet, great location across from the beach. There is a nice pool overlooking the beach so it’s very nice view overall. Walking distance to a restaurant called Diner 66 that has western options (mashed potatoes and gravy!). The beach walk is beautiful as well. We rented scooters through the hotel so it was simple to arrange plus they helped arrange transportation to the airport and then from Hanoi airport to Ha Long. I am glad we stayed at Serene Hotel for our 7 night stay.

Toilet leaking. TV system is backdated need to use 2 remote control. The room is not soundproof, can hear the sound outside. Location is good. Just opposite the beach. But, there is no good restaurant beside the hotel.

Just across the beach and pool was nice. Staff were super helpful on getting taxis, recommending restaurants and assisting on trips. Near restaurants and bars and walking distance to convenient stores.

Ocean front location, plenty of room in a family suite. The breakfast buffet was great with plenty of fresh fruits and variety of food. The room was nice and clean, but the bathroom design was bad where water would filled up the floor after every shower. That was the only bad thing about this hotel. Otherwise, everything was great. Also note, there is construction going on at the hotel next door so there isn’t pretty view on the right side of the hotel.

Avoid so much better elsewhere in this price point
This was bye far the worst hotel I stayed in through out my trip through vietnam. I stayed in another 10 hotels this trip all around the same price point and this hotel failed to deliver. From reception staff very little English all they won't to tell you is you get fined for smoking and eating dureen fruit in your room. The room was terrible drawings over the walls mould on the walls no shower glass in the bathroom so water goes all through the bathroom. Breakfast food boring not very well presented staff lazy. Spend your money else where

I'm always amazed when I find a hotel that strives to be 5 star though priced in the 3 star range. I'm fussy but this ones a real surprise! Right on the beach, clean, modern and great staff! This is my new favorite in Da Nang
