"The Parkgate is the perfect place to get away from the world. The service is topnotch and the staff are always incredible and will always welcome you with a warm smile. The room service was aldo great and nothing was too much trouble. We had stayed in the Tower Suite and as always it was stunning, quiet and the perfect place to just quiet the mind. It has to be my most favorite room, not only because it's beautiful but it feels like a quiet secret getaway. Always a pleasure. "

"It’s my first time been to Wales and we stayed for 2 nights. Overall it’s quite good, nice staff and room is cleaned. We try to setup the air conditioning for lower temperatures as we felt a bit hot in the room. Unfortunately, it’s central conditioning. Rooms is a bit hot for the kids."

"The Cardiff Marriott hotel is a lovely hotel in a great position and with a secure car park. It also has an onsite restaurant, which served a delicious breakfast. However, the price of the drinks shocked us as we were charged £14 for one glass of white wine! The room was good although exceptionally warm with a very loud fan, which we couldn’t leave on during the night due to the noise from it. We could also have done with some more shelves to put clothes, toiletries, etc on. And final slight...

"Good for what we needed. Tea and coffee facilities were great. Iron and Hairdryer included in the room was a good touch, first time I've ever needed to use them and they worked. The pool was ok, slightly too busy, but we did use it at peak time (evening). Great stay."

"Room was big, but cold. Bed was huge and comfortable. Nice coffee machine, but not enough coffee pods or milk. Nice hot shower. A bit noisy room with hearing the traffic. Paid over £100 for 1 night, would have expected parking to be free. Menu very limited, not a lot of variety to choose and very expensive. Food was cold on delivery to the room and missed items. Cooked breakfast was cold and not a lot of tables set up. Coffee machine wasn’t working at breakfast. I had to ask to have this...

"Excellent proximity to the city centre, just a short walk away. Room was very clean and well maintained, comfortable bed and lots of space. Lovely and quiet. "A beautiful converted train wagon nestled in the Welsh countryside. Very well put together with most amenities available. Very comfy bed - small but well sized for a intimate break together. "Had a lovely Mothers day meal but unfortunately we were placed by the side entrance and people were constantly opening the door . It was absolutely freezing in there , poor Mother is 90 and it was way too cold for her . The roast meal however was faultless lovely and tasty and piping hot . Hotel Room could do with updating but it was very spacious and exceptionally clean . "
