"Very sweet place for short-term stay. Once on the island, owner was very communicative. The listing is accurate - if you want to cook meals, keep in mind that there is no stove, hot-plate, or toaster, so it worked for us for a weekend (although would have loved a toaster!) The only reason for the 4 stars on cleanliness was because there was a pair of socks from previous renter left in the bathroom, but otherwise clean! "On the good side, the location was even better than anticipated. Easy to walk to shops and restaurants. Parking was easy and directions to enter were good enough. In the unit, the kitchen and living room were nice and spacious, as pictured. Most convenience items were supplied. However, we were disappointed with the pervasive mildewy old house smell. "Great place in a great location!! Our host, Shannon was very accommodating, answered all our questions and gave great recommendations for restaurants. We really liked the neighborhood setting and could walk to just about anywhere."

"Normally, I rent a large house with two or three couples; but this year we decided to take a last minute trip to MV for the Labor Day (2024) weekend. I was pleased to find a place at such short notice and at a reasonable price. This place did not disappoint! It is brand new, had everything that we needed; including a washer and dryer, beach chairs, and linens. We were close to downtown Vineyard Haven. We were sorry we didn’t have more time to spend there, but would definitely come back again....

"We were pleasantly surprised by the ground floor apartment at Paula's place. The check-in process was easy and Paula was quick to answer questions. Paula's place is squeaky clean AND dog-friendly!
