Walk downtown to eat and shop or hike/bike/run the Mickelson Trail by day, and relax with the propane fire pit and the tree views by night. With everything so convenient in a beautiful location, this cozy cabin will make it hard to leave. The Stewarts Cabin is located in a beautiful tree filled neighborhood. It features a full gourmet kitchen, inside and outside dining, 2 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms.

Great Location
The cabin was quiet and clean. The location was perfect. Deer were abundant. We were gone morning to night, hiking mostly. Great places to Hike. Loved the restaurants and the people.

Great place to stay for families. This property has a great indoor set-up and everything you might need! The location is decent not much of a yard and the home across the yard is a junk yard.

We enjoyed this location and the property immensely. The cabin was perfect for our needs - cozy yet plenty of room for us. We loved the construction and the finished knotty interior. Great location for spots around Custer and for a day trip up to Spearfish Canyon for waterfall hiking.

The cabin was clean & inside appearance was as advertised. The neighborhood was not as nice as we would have preferred. Several well kept properties mixed with junky properties- especially the one across the street from the cabin. Great location for enjoying the area.

Time to lock the door . I know we Will be back soon. Such a well appointed home all our needs were met . From the booking to our stay here .Although, set close to the town the home is nesseled under the hills . Peaceful and beautiful .

We visited with 3 children, 3 months, 2 years and 10 years. The cabin was perfect!!! We didn’t have to worry about the baby crying in our hotel room and everyone slept great! The cabin was beautiful and stocked with everything you could want. My oldest daughter and I baked a cake the first night for my husband’s birthday. Very comfortable and inviting. My only regret is spending to much time sightseeing and not enough time resting.

This place was the best!
I think my husband got sick of me saying how great this place was. Cozy, clean, had everything you needed. Our stay was thoroughly enjoyed. We were able to enjoy all the attractions nearby and return "home" to comfort.

Nice cabin in a quiet neighborhood
Nice cabin in a quiet neighborhood for 5 adults. Watch for a small population of deer and wild turkeys while driving around cabin at dawn and dusk. Centrally located to Custer SP, Wind Cave, Jewel, Mt Rushmore, and Crazy Horse. Ownership is very helpful and responsive to any questions.

Walking distance to downtown Custer
No air conditioning but the interior stayed remarkably cool with overhead fans in all rooms. Several windows had issues with curtains.

We had a family of 4. This cabin was a bit small for us. The listing stated 1 queen bed & 1 single bed in the master. The single bed turned out to be a fold out cot. It worked but was not what I expected. Other than that the cabin is very clean and has most everything you would need. It's in a very quiet neighborhood.

Good customer service is a thing of the past until you deal with the staff of Rushmore Vacation Rentals, they are awesome! Rushmore Vacation Rentals was very helpful and easy to deal with. Great place, great price, would stay there again if in the area. Very cozy cabin, everything was there except the food! wifi and cable were a plus and it is away from the noise of town, but close enough to get supplies quickly. Questions were answered promptly and it was good to have directions, tho gps took us there.

Spent a lovely week at Stewart’s Cabin. Cabin is conveniently located in Custer. Close to many amazing places; Mount Rushmore, crazy Horse, Wind Cave, and Custer State Park. Custer has lots of good restaurants and Mickelson Trail goes right through city.

Great cabin for a family getaway in the Black Hills
The process was super easy. Not one single time did we need to speak with a property manager and/owner. The online process was easy, we were sent all the check in instructions by email and once we arrived at the cabin, everything was perfect. Check-out instructions are in the cabin. Perfect contactless arrangement.
