We are taking measures to ensure the safety of our guests. We have changed our check out time to accommodate the extra cleaning and sanitizing we are doing according to the VRBO and CDC guidelines.

This Creekside cottage located just slightly off the beaten path from downtown Custer where you can find many restaurants exclusive to The Black Hills! Located only a block off the main street and 2 blocks from the grocery store. With a large partially fenced yard and French Creek Park, this makes it the perfect stay for a family, or secluded enough for “just the two of us”. With access to free WiFi, TV, and fully furnished including a stove, refrigerator, kitchen utensils and silverware and washer/dryer it is your new home away from home! Outside of the house there is a deck equipped with a table and chairs, a grill and a gas fireplace perfect for evenings outdoors.
One full bathroom, 2 bedrooms, 1 extra room with bunk beds for extra sleeping, (up to 7 total) This 740 sq ft space is well set up for a comfortable vacation! Bedding includes: 1 queen, 1 bunk bed with a full bed on bottom and twin on top, 1 bunk with 2 single beds,. I will supply all linens and towels. I will also supply the initial supply of paper products, shampoo, soaps, laundry soap, and trash bags.
Ecobee thermostat with motion sensors in kitchen, bedroom and living room. **motion sensors strictly used to help with even and thorough heating for your comfort in the home. **

Great location.
This is the perfect place to stay in Custer. Nice secluded house next to park and trails. Within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. I would stay here again.

A great centralized location!
This cottage was a perfect central point to many of the things we did in the Black Hills. We loved how it was near a park and we were able to sit on the porch while watching our kids play. It was also in walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The inside was clean, well stocked, and well taken care of. We felt right at home and would recommend this cottage for any looking for a place to stay in the Black Hills!

Cozy and Quiet
Custer was the perfect spot for us to see all the things the Black Hills has to offer. The cozy cabin was just the right size and had all the things we needed to cook, relax, and play. Favorite pieces of the house: the playground, the throw blankets, oscillating fan in each bedroom, the grill and carport. Top notch stay!

Was very nice place to stay. Did get a little hot at night in the bedrooms but it was very hot outside. Walking distance from main street so we didn't have to drive to go downtown. Little park for the kids right there as well.

Perfect location
Cute little cottage with the perfect location! Close enough that Main Street Custer is within walking distance, but just enough removed from the main drag that it felt quiet and safe. Playground next door was a big bonus for the kids. House was clean and comfy.

Close to Town
We appreciated our time at the cabin, having beds for all 6 of us, a working kitchen and close to town. The kids enjoyed the playground close by as well. The one thing I was a bit surprised by was a transformer station/electrical hub by the cabin. There’s a great big tree that blocks most of it, but wasn’t quite as “woodsy” as I had expected 😝. The hosts were very responsive and helpful for our trip.

Ideal location
We had a great time staying at this cottage. Owners were very nice and helpful. The location was perfect for the sights we wanted to see: Crazy Horse Memorial, Mount Rushmore, Deadwood, Devil's Tower, Custer State Park. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed. Would highly recommend this place to our friends and family.

Black Hills Adventure
We found Cozy Creekside Cottage to be a wonderful place to stay for our trip to the Black Hills. The cottage provided lots of amenities and everything we needed was there. The cottage was clean and neat and we especially enjoyed using the gas fire pit out on the deck in the evening. I can highly recommend Cozy Creekside Cottage for anyone looking for a cozy place to stay for their Black Hills adventure!

Nice little gem in Custer
Cozy cabin describes this perfectly. Has just about anything you could need to cook and make yourself at home in a small but efficient home - including lots of blankets to snuggle in with on our winter stay. Can easily walk down main street Custer to get anything you want.

Cute Cottage, Great Location!
The house was decorated nicely and very clean. The yard was perfect for the kids to throw a football and play around. There is also a park right next door. Everything in town in close, great location for day trips to Crazy Horse, Mt. Rushmore, Wind Cave, Jewel Cave. The Badlands Ntl Park was a reasonable distance away. The car port was nice to keep our car out of any weather that came through. Great place to stay!

Great Place!
This was the cutest place right out of Custard! We were blocks from the business district, and restaurants. Saw deer the two mornings we were there, and the kids loved the little park right next door. Besides the park, there was a nice shaded front lawn and we had two outside options to sit and watch them play. Maybe 3 blocks from a trail head that gives you some hiking options. Would defiantly come back again!

Family vacation
I greatly underestimated the beauty of the black hills! Custer was the perfect spot for our family. Very close to all the sights and attractions we visited. The playground was perfect for the younger kids to enjoy in the evening while we made dinner and wound down for the day. The cabin felt private yet was close to be able to walk downtow, the dollar store, etc. I plan on returning to the black hills as we did not check everything off our list and added much more to the list and I plan on returning g to this cabin!

Plenty of room for the 7 of us. Walking distance to main street. Private home. Kitchen had all manner of utensils and cookware. It all was great. Only negatives were that a dishwasher would be nice, and maybe update the master bed mattress.

Definitely a cozy stay!
My Mom, brother, and myself stayed at Cozy Creekside for three nights and we really enjoyed it. The cottage is well appointed and very clean, the beds are comfortable, and Alyse is an excellent host. The only suggestion we have is to add a few dvds. The location is great -- within walking distance of downtown Custer and a short drive to Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, and Deadwood/Lead. Custer is very nice little town that's not full of touristy kitsch but if that's what you are looking for Keystone is just a short drive away. If we come back this way again, we'll be sure to stop in and say Hi!

Awesomeness!!!!
What a great place to stay. Convenient to everything in Custer just a two block walk to town center. Quiet and relaxing. If you have kids there is a playground a few seconds walk and you can watch your kids while you sit on the deck. Very well furnished and the beds were very comfortable. Nicely equipped kitchen. There is a car port so when the storms come in your car is very protected. Our host and her family were great and responded very quickly to any questions. BTW the July 4th fireworks are easy to view with short walk to another playground If we ever get to come back to Custer this is where we will stay.

Great vacation
