"This beautiful new resort made for a lovely vacation. The location is very nice, in the middle of a golf course, the staff is excellent, great breakfast, very tasteful decor. Our room was super comfortable, especially the nice big, firm bed. If you require an American King, this bed will not disappoint! The layout of the resort is unique, with the majority of the rooms/suites in a series of smaller buildings with no elevators, so I will say that if you have any issues with stairs or managing inclines/declines, you should choose your room strategically with the reservation agent. I would highly recommend the Viceroy at Ombria. "

"Un posto meraviglioso, immerso nella natura ma comunque vicino a un centro abitato con negozi e supermercati e a vie principali di comunicazione, quindi ottima base per visitare l'Algarve e il basso Alentejo. Wolf è un ottimo host, presente nella proprietà e sempre disponibile per fornire assistenza e consigli. Il luogo è spettacolare, silenzioso e perfetto per le passeggiate o lunghi giri in kayak sul lago (sono arrivato alla diga e tornato, un pomeriggio splendido). Consigliatissimo"

"Location is beautiful But we value our privacy and the owner of the property doesn't let you know he is coming x 3 times in the 2 weeks We woke up one morning to find him in the garden! We had children with us and did not feel safe when he left as he just leaves the gate wide open The swimming pool was very unsafe and filthy the owner had to call a technician out to fix the pool and it took us a hour to clean the pool when we arrived On day 2 he accused us of breaking the umbrella outside when this was already broke The toilet in the on-suite bathroom after every second flush you have to take the system apart to stop the water constantly running As a family we didn’t feel like we could kick back and relax as we always felt on edge and never knew when he would show up Will not be staying here again "

"We loved the villa and had a wonderful stay. The communication was excellent with the hosts and the property managers. Everything we needed to know was in the book inside the property as we came in. The villa was extremely clean when we arrived, and we were left a lovely basket of goodies which is a very nice touch. The only room for improvement I would say there is , is that the property got very hot at night with us staying in August. There are ceiling fans in the lounge and the master bedroom but the ceilings are so high it doesnt really get the rooms to a comfortable sleeping temperature.Open the doors and windows and you have to deal with wasps and other bugs inside. So we decided to put up with the heat instead. I think additional fans being available would be a simple fix and then the villa really would be faultless. We would love to stay here again in the future.It is so peaceful inside and outside and you are not too far away from anywhere you want to go. "
