Kookaburra’s is located just 120 meters from Abrahams Bosom Beach so you can pop down for a swim whenever the mood takes you! Explore the rock pool, do some snorkeling or fishing, try your hand at learning to surf or stand-up paddle boarding, or bring your jet skis or boat; the boat ramp is nearby.
The area is a hiker’s paradise with some lovely walking tracks across the peninsula. It’s full of natural wildlife so take your camera. The famous Hyams Beach with its famous white sands is a trip worth fitting in and whale watching from nearby Huskisson is a box to tick. For something a little different, look up the ever-popular 100 Beach Challenge or time your trip with the monthly Currarong Art Trail.
In terms of eateries, there’s a cafe for coffee or breakfast just 7 minutes walk away from the house, or the Bowling club with its family-friendly bistro is only a kilometre down the road. If you’d like to explore further options, both Culburra and Huskisson offer a great many eateries, both only a half hour away.
It’s a beautiful area and Kookaburra holiday home is the perfect base to explore it from. Come and enjoy your stay!
