Allerdings führt unten die Durchgangsstraße entlang, wodurch man auch etwas den Verkehr hört. Die Zufahrt von der Straße zum Haus ist ziemlich steil, aber sehr gut gepflaster und breit genug, so dass man es mit etwas Schwung problemlos hinauf schafft. "This house has some great spaces. The decks are wonderful. Parking space is adequate. Location is close to the center of Stresa but not walkable. There were some problems. The house could have been cleaner. Spiders and spider webs. The 2 bedrooms on the lower level were musty despite the dehumidifier that was running constantly. The bathrooms and kitchen on the lower level had mold. There are no screens on the windows. A microwave and hair dryer would have been nice."

Wir haben alle Infos zum Haus selbst als auch für Aktivitäten in der Nähe bekommen. Besonders cool: eine Google Maps Karte mit eingezeichneten Parkplätzen, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Freizeitaktivitäten. "When I asked some Italian friends about the most beautiful lake in Italy, they all mentioned "il Lago d'Orta". We decided to spend a week near the lake and were not disappointed. We liked the ancient villages of Orta San Giulo and Pella, the hikes around Ameno and the stunning views from the top of the Mottarone mountain, as well as the restaurants with great food.
