Family Friendly Lake House

Newly Renovated!!! This home is located on Simpson Creek at Smith Lake. It’s it only 7 minutes from I65 exit 304 and is on a very quiet dead end road. Completely shaded by trees, very large covered patio facing the water. Water front is gradual and has no deep drop off. The home features 4 bedrooms with Queen beds. 2 of the bedrooms feature attached smaller rooms with 3 twin beds. Perfect for families with small children. For a total of SIX BEDROOMS. There is also a detached building that houses a game room with a sofa. Great place for kids to hang out. The entire property and home is decorated and furnished with families in mind.
***Please inquire about additional weekly and monthly/multi-month discounts during Fall and Winter off season dates.
This would be a great home for extended business trips or interim housing. We also have 3 cabins close by. PM for details. Thank you 😊

Nice quiet home on the lake
Nice home and well cared for. I would recommend. Very good for large families or two families. Lots of beds. Clean and well kept. Not s super fancy home but very comfortable. Here are good things to know. 1. The wifi is through T mobile and very slow. Verizon is spotty there. 2. There were no paper towels or laundry detergent so bring your own. 3. The stairs going to the upstairs bedrooms are steep and the second set is higher than the first so you will stumble. Not great for an elderly person or someone physically impaired. Overall, its a nice quiet neighborhood and it feel very safe.

A great getaway
This place was amazing to wake up. The view of the lake from the front porch was breathtaking. The game room was easy going. The place had plenty of space for guests. Wish I could have stayed longer.

We had a wonderful visit at the lake house. The water was a short walk and very easy to access. (We have stayed in other homes on the lake that were difficult for a grandmother to walk to.) We spent many hours on the front porch, such a beautiful view of the lake at sunrise and sunset. We were a little surprised that a couple of the rooms did not have doors on them, but I may have overlooked that when reading all the specifics. The rooms with no doors may have originally been attic space, but I am unsure.

Nice place to relax.
The spot on the lake was perfect, not a lot of boat traffic or even jet ski traffic. The kids could swim all day or jump in an inflatable boat and paddle out with no real worry of water vehicles.

Wonderful Property

Enjoyed this beautiful location! The home was comfortable, and the private dock was great! It was a quiet and peaceful stay. The only thing I would notify future travelers of is the limit of supplies. We had booked for 5 people and the rental had only 3 sets of silverware. Additionally, the hand soap dispensers in each bathroom and the dish soap were severely diluted soap with water. No dishwasher soap is provided and only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. Come with supplies and save a trip to the store, so you can enjoy this beautiful place!

Wonderful 4th
We loved this property so much! It was easy to find. The view from the front porch was amazing! We enjoyed floating and watching the birds. There was not a lot of boat traffic, which was really nice! The neighbors were also very vice!

We enjoyed our stay. The AC kept up amazingly during our hot 5 day trip. Everything was clean except the dishes. No fault of the owners. I am sure they can't guarantee all guests put away clean dishes. Being able to bring our dogs was a plus. It is a nice clam cove. We enjoyed playing in the water. Thank you for having us.

Family reunion year after year
This is definitely the best place we have ever stayed. We stay here year after year and each time they do more and more updates. Our family loves the quiet dead end road, the game room is perfect for the kids and the large patio is a perfect place to enjoy the shaded view of the kids swimming. It’s not too many steps to the water and the boat dock is perfect for our boat. We have also caught tons of fish.

Lake vacation
We love staying at the lake house. It is perfect for my family and our second time to rent this property. The property's is conveniently located close to the interstate and nearby stores. We really enjoyed the porch and swimming from a nice swim deck. They have a great game room which was perfect for three preteens and 1 teenager. The owner quickly responds to questions and provides good info. Highly recommend!!!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The house was as described. Tara was so nice and prompt in responding to my text and messages. My favorite place was the patio. The views are beautiful!! We look forward to staying here again soon.

We went for our family Vacation and we had some of Our relatives that lives in cullman Ala come spend Time with us. It was a very nice, relaxing, beautiful place. We really enjoyed setting out on the porch. It was so nice. It was a little bit cooler than we wanted and it rained some, but we still had a wonderful time. We really enjoyed the game room a lot. Quick Family Get Away
The covered level outdoor space was lovely to enjoy the view of the water. We brought my 93 year old mother-in-law and it was so nice to have everything on the same level for her. The game room being separate from the house was nice too, but does need some TLC. We thoroughly enjoyed the ping pong table, but we did go out and get our own paddles and balls because there were only two paddles and one ball and we wanted to play doubles. The foozball table didn't have a ball and I don't remember what the kids said about the darts, but they bought their own for that too. The dart board did look like it had seen better days though. The fireplace in the living room was cozy and actually could produce heat too which was nice because it was still chilly when we were there. All the beds were fine except for one in the back bedroom. They said they sunk towards the middle. My overall suggestion would be white linens and new pillows. The stovetop has a small hairline crack and I think it may be affecting the consistent function of the burners. It was like it was difficult to control the temperature. All in all though, we had a lovely stay. Thank you!
