"Scenic views of rice fields and Mount Agung, lovely area to walk around with or without a guide. Very pleasant staff can arrange visits to temples and waterfalls. Excellent menu. Great for couples or families! Can’t praise it enough!"

"I didn’t get any sleep for the one night I was there because all the motorcycles were loud and going all night long. The bathroom was out by the pool but still attached to my room. It was open and I felt I had no privacy if I had to go to bathroom. You could hear everything. "

"We spent one night here ahead of catching our fast boat ferry to Gili Air. Dessy & the team were absolutely awesome & went out of their way to look after us including arranging for our meal & drinks to be delivered directly to our room after a long day travelling! "Everything was simply horrible. Incredibly rude, none of the amneties were provided as promised, and everything was dirty, or simply didn't work. Urine stains, no electricity, no water, no internet, provided towels were dirty. If you simply need a place to sleep, sleep with the cows out back instead."

"If you are searching for total isolation, this villa is right up your alley. There are no taxi services and no restaurants other than the villa’s which has limited meal options. The villa is located in a farming and very poor part of Bali. The flies are constant which makes sitting outside uncomfortable. For meals, we ate in our room so as to elude them. We had three nights booked but only stayed for two."

"It was disappointing to see the changes to the property post covid as we had stayed many times before. The buildings and pool are worse for wear, staff not as friendly, no footwear sign at open dining room but staff did not comply… I hate having bare feet on a restaurant floor. "Very friendly helpful staff. The grounds and casitas are nice and the views of the lake and volcano are really nice. Of course, the flies are incessant in the morning. They seem to fade away in the afternoon and evening. The hotel is a short drive to the start of Mt Batur hike and you can hire a guide at this hotel. Highly recommend the hike. "The place was a great place to stay - we were only there the night and would have been happy to stay longer. The rooms are solid with stone finish and decor of the rooming place is beautiful We actually moved from one room to one with a kitchen and that was perfect as we had some dinner that we picked up and could heat on the stove. The only set back was that it was very difficult to find and the sign is above the parking gargage and not legible any more. Recommend that the signage be improved"

"One of the best hidden gem in Kintamani area. This place has best view of mountain and lake. All staff is very friendly & helpful. The access to property is a bit confusing, you should ask around in case if you got lost. But it’s super worth it. I want to come back again for sure!"

"Awesome place with impeccable service. The enormous rooms with 3M high windows were very impressive, as were the expansive grounds which were impeccably kept. The staff’s attention to detail and enthusiasm to do everything for their guests, was a standout. The only negative is that they had very little wine to offer, however it was easy to wander to the supermarket nearby. We spent a very relaxing three days here, mostly lazing in the pool and watching the sunsets. If you are after a quieter and more relaxed environment away from the pubs and mayhem of Kuta, this is it. Best place that we stayed at in Bali. 11/10."

"This was our first stay in Bali. We had one of the garden rooms. It was beautiful and clean!!! The staff went out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable! Some of the best massages as well!! The buffet breakfast was incredible! My friend who is gluten and dairy free had no problem finding a good choice that fit her diet! "

"This resort is a hidden gem. Located in Maggis , Candidasa. Quiet location with the ocean as the background. Staff made sure I was comfortable and accommodating. I enjoyed the amenities. There is a Spa on site. ATM machine located on property made cash available convenient. DeBas and everyone from housecleaning to the bar made my first time in Bali memorable! I def rec this location if you want to be away from the crowds and traffic. I can’t wait to bring back my family here! "

"We had a lovely stay, it was relaxing and the two queries we had were dealt with so quickly and quietly. The staff were lovely and the grounds are so nice and so pretty of an evening. We also used the on-site transport to a village and then again in leaving, such a better option than a grab. So looking forward to seeing the beach restoration project in the future."
