"We had a great stay at The Sandbar over Christmas and NYE! Perfect for our extended family group, walking distance to the lake, large backyard for the kids to play soccer & backyard cricket. House was clean and as described, beds comfy! Garage is stocked with various backyard games and bikes for guests to use. Mar & Dars cafe down the road is great for a coffee. Host was very responsive, we had a small issue with one of the fridges not working and it was replaced promptly, despite public holiday...

"This property is in a beautiful peaceful street and only a short walk from the beach and cafes. All the amenities provided were as described and the host was very helpful with instructions and quick to respond to queries. Would highly recommend."

"We had a lovely stay. The house was neat, tidy and beds were comfy. Easy walk to the main street and the beach. Check in process was easy. The only disappointing thing was the pool...it was set to heat at 36 degrees on a hot spring weekend with temps of 28 - 30. Would have been nice to have had a dip in a cold pool."
