Our bathroom was on the first floor down a spiral staircase. Yes, it was delightfully quirky. This is a great place for those who shun standard square room."

The decor is charming and tasteful. Aurélie provides a simple yet very tasty breakfast every morning and nothing is too much trouble! All jams are homemade which can be bought no site. She is very friendly and allows you to treat her home like your own. We ate an evening meal there one night and it was cooked using...

"Imagine two of your favourite friends opening a beautiful small hotel with perfect amenities in a memorable setting and that might begin to approach Aux Bories Marquay. Five stars do not do it justice. It is now my favourite vacation experience ever. The hosts are kind, gracious and thoughtful. Breakfast is perfect in every way. The memory of breakfast in the courtyard will sustain me through the cold Canadian winter. We look forward to returning next year. "
