"The house and surroundings are fine, and we enjoyed the opportunity to swim and play in the river and walk in the mountains. The market in the next village of Sainte Croix is fun. The house was very clean. The bedrooms are OK, the downstairs room could do with some comfortable furniture. And the owner had left absolutely nothing - not even salt and pepper or a bit of vinegar and oil - for us when we arrived. "The property was stunning and exceed expectations from the listing. The location is quite and secluded but not to far from towns. The pool was beautiful to relax around. "Great 2 weeks staying outside Les Vans during this difficult time. View of mountains, lovely house with great kitchen. Outside space was good when the sun shone . We went out and visited a few places and enjoyed the Les Vans market on the Saturday everyone it seemed observing the mask wearing rule. Will Love to come back to D’Ardeche when we can be normal again"

Besonders schön waren die zahlreichen Bademöglichkeiten in der näheren Umgebung (zu Fuß an der Sure, in Gravière und Chambonas an der Chassezac). Für Liebhaber der französischen Küche sind der kleine Bio-Markt in Chambonas (donnerstags 17.30h) und die zahlreichen Geschäfte in Les Vans eine Fundgrube. Darüberhinaus ladt die Gegend zum Paddeln und Wandern...
