"The property was amazing with so many fun outdoor activities including, but not limited to, frisbee golf (we used a football), fishing (catch and release and pretty good-sized fish!), hot tub, frollicking and traversing the property. The hosts were more than responsive and the place was immaculately clean. Our kids (7-9yo) had a blast and didn't want to leave, neither did we!"

"We needed a spot close to Rolla that wasn’t a hotel and this place was great. Only problem was I wished we were there longer. Hope to use it again when traveling to MO S&T!"

"The property had everything we needed to make a full Thanksgiving meal. The large table accomodated everyone with plenty of room. The property is beautiful, the owners were so accomodating and responsive. I don't think there was any detail not considered. The kids are already asking when we can stay at River Place again."

"We chose to stay here with our 4 kids while visiting family in the area. It fit the bill perfectly for what we needed. Check-in process was easy. Bring a pillow if you are able - the ones provided don’t offer much support (we always bring our own when we can!). We are definitely keeping this on our list to revisit when we come back again. Great price, nice and quiet location. Was more affordable for us over the hotels in town and more comfortable!"

Although we had very little opportunity to use the kitchen, we found it well stocked. It was especially nice to have the assortment of pods for enjoying a cup of coffee first thing in the morning. "The location and house were great. Lots of space, rooms and bathrooms. Large fenced in area the dog enjoyed, fishing pond and outdoor seating. Some minor maintenance needed done but we would love to come stay again "

"We had a blast here, little bonfire at night and we played games at the kitchen table during the day. Meramec Caverns is about 25 mins away and we went there for a little outing. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the owners were wonderful."

"Very remote feeling but only 5 miles from town. This place is a little gem, with all the amenities and then some to make sure you feel right at home. We appreciated having somewhere close to our kids to be able to have a holiday dinner with. The sound of the river while outside was so peaceful. And we walked down to it to skip rocks. Just beautiful, thanks for sharing your cabin with us!"

"Selected a weekend in December for a short cabin stay. We got really lucky with mild weather and we were even able to enjoy the fire pit one night. The cabin was as advertised. Very good cabin feel. The kitchen was fully stocked and Caroline confirmed ahead of time on a couple items we needed to cook with we’re already there. Definitely recommend anyone looking for a cabin getaway to book this listing."
