"This is a beautiful resort that is a bit far from town but very lovely and quiet. They have wonderful staff that are happy to help you. There are events to that you can do while on the property- I did a horseback ride to the "top of the world" with my kids. It was wonderful, and we saw 2 waterfalls as well. The resort has a nice trail where you can see a fumerole- steam and hot water coming from the ground- and bubbling mud too. There is ziplining and plenty of food choices at the restaurant. They all spoke English and were so kind to my family. I didn't try the spa but I'm sure it's top notch too."

"The property was just as described. Eladio is a great host with even better excursions. The first day we seen howler monkeys, macaws, white face monkeys and plenty of crocodiles. The parrots play in the trees right outside of the house along with the iguanas. "

"This Lodge was a wonderful experience, with lots of great activities to do every day. My only complaint was that everything closed very early and the road going into the resort desperately needs to be paved!"

"The property manager and staff are lovely. Everything else was underwhelming. It was hard to locate and there was a locked gate with no instructions for how to get in. The property looked nice from the photos but the images did not accurately represent the small, dark rooms and the fact that it’s a cluster of little studio motel rooms. It has the feel of a fixer upper motor lodge. It has tons of potential; just still needs work and wasn’t at all what we were led to believe we were renting. It’s overpriced for what it is. "

"The property offered a beautiful pool lots of birds and monkeys to watch. Eladio and Vanessa are excellent hosts willing to make your stay enjoyable. Transport you to town or on excursions in the 4x4. We were there for 13 days but it was all around best part of our 4 month stay in Costa Rica. "
