"We really enjoyed our stay at Shabby Chic. We hadnt done our local area research so my son was disappointed with the shelly beach and that he couldnt dig a body sized hole (groan) and the tide went out a lot so swimming wasnt possible, but we made the most of evening and morning walks along the beach with our puppers. The sunsets are spectacular and birdlife amazing! The views second to none the pine put front has been trimmed with a lovely little white bench seat so you can relax and take it all in. Absolute relaxation!!! The house had everything we needed, well almost... it was missing a way to dry clothes, so best take a small airer if you intend to do any washing. "

"There is no reception. You need to go to the hotel 200 mts down the street. There is a sign with no phone number. The person we delt with at the hotel, wanted to charge us again. She asked to see my receipt from Expedia.com.au and my bank statement. She then wanted to me to pay her directly. She could not see our booking from her business end. We did book the same afternoon we wanted to stay. Finally she checked her emails and found our booking. Very very messy situation. This all took half an hour. For this reason. I would not stay again. The room was pleasantly comfortable. There is no hair dryer. "

"My family enjoyed the long weekend with some fishing, crabbing and lawn games at this shack and it was very comfortable. Port Broughton Pub was one of the best i have been to, yummy food and very nice outdoor area to enjoy the sunset. Would definitely visit again with the family!"
