"We loved everything about this cottage: the fabulous setting, privacy, inside was warm and comfortable, with double glazing, good curtains (if you like darkness to sleep) and a heat pump to cool down inside on a hot day! "Fig cottage is such an appropriate name. You are living in a delightful cottage on the edge of their garden which is just full of an array of plants. Location was close to everything with our car. The addition of homemade jam and fresh fruit made a wonderful addition to our simple breakfasts.The cottage has everything you could possibly want and a lovely porch to sit on at the end of the day. "Really nice property in central Napier. Easily walkable to many attractions. Very large and spacious with a good kitchen that was well appointed. The tennis court was a nice addition (the rackets and balls provided could have been better, but not a big deal). Overall would highly recommend!"

"The view was exactly what we wanted however the property left a lot to be desired. It needed a good clean inside and out, there were crumbs on the floor on our arrival, the counters and table top were sticky/greasy, the oven was disgusting, the dish cloth was rank and looked like it hadn’t been changed in a good long while. The outdoor furniture was dirty and covered in cobwebs not something easily cleaned off."

"A clean and tidy location near Ahuriri and the port. The buzz of the port action was great to see, and the accommondation was clean, tidy and well appointed with everything we needed. A short easy walk to the cafes at Ahuriri. Good to have a break away."
