"There was a 4 pm check in. Property was not ready and we came back at 4.45 p.m. Rooms had cobwebs. Mouse in the dining room and big fireplaces blew out smoke when lit although we followed the directions. Firewood was for sale and not provided. Bathroom broke. Sofa in the main living room was old and sunk down so we could not use. "Gym" was a few pieces of equipment outside under a carport type structure and was covered by tarp as was the outside furniture. Toilet broke and owner tried to...

"Lower Elmore's is a lovely house with everything you could need and bags of space. We rented the property as a group of 12 (6 adults, 6 kids) and hugely enjoyed it. It's remote location does mean you have to navigate single track narrow roads to go anywhere - this wasn't a problem for us but may not be to everyone's comfort."

"The property I think had been vacant for some time before we arrived. It was very clean but there were a lot of flies but that has to be expected on a farm. We soon sorted it and there was no bother from then on. The hosts were so helpful with anything we needed. Marked the accuracy of the listing down due to the hot tub. We booked it thinking that was included. Would have preferred for it not to have been mentioned. "

"We rented Barebones to celebrate my father in laws 80th Birthday. We were a party of 11. The house was beautiful, clean and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed for our group. We had a lovely weekend and wouldn't hesitate to book again. I don't really have anything else to say because it was just perfect! "
