"Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Kathleen and Ken’s property. They’re honestly the most lovely, welcoming people. Even without the lure of the farm, they’re enough to make you want to come back again. The farm is awesome, they’ve got a Cow, Bull, Sheep, Ducks, Chickens, Turkeys and a lovely little Puppy which are all super accessible during your stay. Aside from the paddock with the Bull (for obvious reason) you have pretty much free rein to go and explore the entire 25 acres. Ken left us plenty of fire wood for the outdoor fire pit and the heating inside was great. It got to a low of -7 while we were there but we didn’t notice it inside. Kathleen was also super helpful recommending a butcher on the way up where they actually supply some of the lamb themselves. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend this to anyone who’s thinking about booking. You won’t be disappointed."

All our questions and request were answered while our stay , check in was so easy , Lisa as well offered us to check in early and check out anytime we wanted which we founded this a very generous act from her end. "We had a wonderful stay at Taralga Terraces - Whiting's Store and loved the town. It was cold so we made the most of the combustion fire and the beds were cozy and warm. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms had all the amenities we needed. We ventured out to Wombeyan Caves and also had dinner at The Argyle Inn which was fantastic. Crookwell is also a lovely little town. Lisa was a great host and easy to communicate with. We would love to come back to this centrally located property."

"What a beautiful property & amazing hosts. Sally & Tony were so welcoming & showed us around their beautiful property, letting the kids pat & feed all the animals. The house was lovely, clean & had everything you could possibly need. We had the best weekend away & will definitely be back, would highly recommend to anyone."

"We had a great time getting together with family from various states; taking time out to reconnect and chat and plan over wonderful meals, walks and times near the water. The farm also offered space for solitary walks and naps, reading or flipping a lure with gatherings over meals. "Attached at the rear to the 'big' house I felt a little upstairs downstairs! Loved the gardens, chooks, donkeys and outside spaces. No fuss check-in after we determined it wasn't 4pm as shown but 2pm. Recommend for city dwellers who want a taste of the farm life."

"An excellent property with an excellent wood heater that was greatly appreciated due to the brisk weather. Location is excellent and the beds comfortable, the kitchen well stocked with everything that we needed. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to enjoy The Grand Ettie cafe and the Argyle Hotel restaurant as well as the scenic local countryside."
