"We had a late start to our weekend getaway and instead of leaving on Friday afternoon we headed out on Saturday morning. Once we arrived, Wes asked us if we’d like to stay Sunday night since we didn’t use our Friday night booking. We gladly took him up on that. Then he invited Michelle and I to Easter dinner with his family. Such an awesome thing to suggest. Rose had quite the dinner prepared, Wes had dessert handled, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The treehouse has become a twice a year getaway spot. Thanks Wes and Rose for your hospitality. We’ll be back soon. "

"We visited during HS spring break which was a historically rainy time but was a welcomed get away with family. The place is located in a great location to enjoy the water, weather permitting. The house was very clean upon arrival helping make us feel welcomed. The screened in back porch is great to watch nature regardless of the weather. Upon recommendation of the host, we ate at Little Dave’s pizza which was great. Their menu is large enough to accommodate anyone. The dam is a very short drive away if you wanted to fish or hike. We plan to come back when the weather is more accommodating for water friendly activities. "

"The cabin was very clean, had everything we needed. It was very relaxing. The only downfall was the water was up so we didn't get to fish. But will definitely be going back so we can. Will recommend this cabin to family and friends. "
