"Large enough for two to four people, with an ok clean bathroom. The walls were very dirty, and windows were in disrepair. The television did not work which was not ok for my husband. The location was ok and close to restaurants. The beach was across the lake but easy to get to. "

"I saw reviews of the property that it needed updated. It is a fishing cottage on a fishing lake, and it is exactly what we wanted and expected. It had everything we needed, even some cast iron skillets! The cottage was cozy and comfortable. Our stay was during the week, but it was extremely quite and relaxing. "We just spent our 4th new year retreat at Skinner Lake cottage. It is so peaceful, comfortably furnished, close to great places to eat and shop. We bring all our books, make a meal or tea, and relax. Monday was sunny and we had our coffee and read out on the deck. We love this place!"

"We spent a wonderful two days at this beautiful cottage on the lake. We could not have asked for a better location or host, who provided a very clean property with a beautiful view and all of the necessary amenities to make our stay comfortable. There were two bedrooms with queen beds (perfect for 4), but one bedroom had the bed pushed against the wall making it awkward for a partner to exit the bed, and it was necessary to coordinate the use of the bathroom. Overall though, it was wonderful!"
